Brook has been with Marks Consulting Partners for 3.5 years, originally joining the Regeneration & Development desk before moving to the Property & Surveying desk, covering the South East. Recently promoted to Team Lead, she brings a strong work ethic, determination and plenty of energy to the team.

But Brook doesn’t just shine in recruitment. She’s also our (self-appointed and much-loved) Social Media Manager, a role she may secretly prefer! Brook runs all of our social media channels and is the creative force behind the engaging videos that have gained over 3million views and helped us attract new talent.

Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now an Associate Director specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

Joshua studied Law at University and was for 12 years a Parish Councillor in his hometown of Milton Keynes chairing the organisation for 8 years.

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to work with one of our local authority clients in Shropshire.

What the job will be doing?

  • Managing a varied planning enforcement caseload, including investigating breaches and evaluating evidence.
  • Preparing reports and recommendations for enforcement action and delegated decisions.
  • Attending Planning Committee, court hearings and public inquiries, including presenting evidence.
  • Providing specialist enforcement advice and supporting the wider Development Management service.

What you will need?

  • Strong planning enforcement experience.
  • Experience investigating complex breaches and progressing cases through appropriate enforcement action.
  • Confident report writing and experience presenting cases at Committee/hearings.
  • Strong knowledge of planning enforcement legislation, procedures and Development Management.
