Brook has been with Marks Consulting Partners for 3.5 years, originally joining the Regeneration & Development desk before moving to the Property & Surveying desk, covering the South East. Recently promoted to Team Lead, she brings a strong work ethic, determination and plenty of energy to the team.

But Brook doesn’t just shine in recruitment. She’s also our (self-appointed and much-loved) Social Media Manager, a role she may secretly prefer! Brook runs all of our social media channels and is the creative force behind the engaging videos that have gained over 3million views and helped us attract new talent.

Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now an Associate Director specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

Joshua studied Law at University and was for 12 years a Parish Councillor in his hometown of Milton Keynes chairing the organisation for 8 years.

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Development Manager- Town Centre to work with one of our local authority clients in the North East.

What the job will be doing?

  • Leading complex town-centre regeneration projects from feasibility and business-case development through to delivery.
  • Managing development appraisals, viability assessments, investment cases and funding activity.
  • Coordinating masterplanning, infrastructure, demolition, site investigations and other enabling work.
  • Leading consultants and project teams while managing programmes, budgets, risks and governance requirements.

What you will need?

  • Strong regeneration, development management or major-project delivery experience.
  • A track record of delivering town-centre, mixed-use or property-led regeneration schemes.
  • Experience working with development partners, consultants, funders and public-sector stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgement and knowledge of viability, business cases, regeneration funding and project governance.
