Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Lizzie's career took the scenic route to get here. She left London for what was meant to be a couple of months away, and 25 years later she's still gone, having fallen completely in love with South Africa along the way.

These days Lizzie's traded scuba gear for spreadsheets as our Database Administrator, bringing several years of database experience within the recruitment industry to the role.

Steve brings over 13 years of recruitment experience, having spent most of his career across the Healthcare and Veterinary sectors, so he’s recruited everyone from doctors to vets and probably dealt with a few animals on both sides of the phone.

He’s now swapped scrubs and stethoscopes for hard hats, cost plans and Quantity Surveyors, bringing the same relationship-first approach with him.

What the job will be doing?

Managing lease renewals and rent reviews across a varied commercial property portfolio.
Providing professional advice on landlord and tenant matters and wider estate management issues.
Negotiating lease terms, licences and other property agreements.
Supporting the effective management and performance of commercial and operational assets.

What you will need?

MRICS qualification (essential).
Strong General Practice Estates Surveying experience.
Experience undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and landlord & tenant work.
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently within a local authority or similar property environment.
