Brook, affectionately known as the ‘mum’ of our group, recently moved onto the Property & Surveying desk covering the South East, bringing her trademark energy and dedication with her. She originally joined Marks Consulting Partners just over two years ago on the Regeneration & Development desk. With a strong mind and an incredible work ethic, Brook consistently goes above and beyond, taking initiative and showing unwavering dedication in everything she does.

Her determined personality makes her thrive in the recruitment world. Brook knows how to turn any opportunity, whether a challenge or a win, into something positive, always making the most of what comes her way. If she’s not deep in conversation with a candidate, you’ll likely find her raiding the snack drawer or adding goodies to the Ocado shop!

Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now an Associate Director specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

Lizzie's career took the scenic route to get here. She left London for what was meant to be a couple of months away, and 25 years later she's still gone, having fallen completely in love with South Africa along the way.

What the job will be doing?

Lead on Refurbishment Works programme
responsible for day to day client side project management,

management of budgets via SAP system
engagement with internal and external stakeholders,
attendance at site meetings,
preparation of reports,
management of all appointed consultants, preparing monthly KPIs of the service
maintaining sharepoint and main works folder
Maintaining consultant fee schedules
Review of client side matters and provide recommendations to the Strategic Lead as necessary
Liaison with Landlord Services on additional voids
Management of security guards – reviewing reports, providing recommendations to Strategic Lead
Adherence to contract terms and conditions – seeking legal advice as necessary
Adherence to budget approvals (GW2 and 3)
Management of consultant POs
Client side lead at site meetings
Risks and issues management and mitigation
Management and review of Clerk of Works reports
Completing change management forms as appropriate
Provision of financial information to Asset Management monthly
Inputting status of project in reports produced by team
