Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Chartered or nearly Chartered Building Surveyor to work with one of our established independent property consultancy clients in either their Hastings or Tunbridge Wells offices.
What the job will be doing?
- Managing refurbishment, planned maintenance and remediation projects
- Delivering contract administration and employer’s agent instructions
- Undertaking building surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting
- Preparing specifications, tender documentation and procurement advice
- Managing client, contractor and consultant relationships
- Supporting junior surveyors and APC candidates where required
What you will need?
- MRICS status or strong progress towards completing the APC
- Building Surveying consultancy experience
- Experience delivering projects with limited supervision
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement
- Strong technical, report-writing and client-facing skills
- Ability to travel across Kent, Sussex, London and the wider South East
