Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now an Associate Director specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

Lizzie's career took the scenic route to get here. She left London for what was meant to be a couple of months away, and 25 years later she's still gone, having fallen completely in love with South Africa along the way.

What the job will be doing?

Supporting and managing commercial Building Surveying instructions
Undertaking building surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations work
Assisting with PPM surveys, condition surveys and reinstatement cost assessments
Supporting contract administration, refurbishment and maintenance projects
Attending site inspections, progress meetings and client meetings
Taking increasing ownership of instructions as your experience develops

What you will need?

Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Previous Building Surveying consultancy experience
A clear ambition to achieve MRICS status
Interest in commercial professional and project work
Strong client-facing, communication and report-writing skills
Ability to travel across Hampshire, surrounding counties and London

The package includes a competitive salary, quarterly performance bonus, annual profit-share bonus, pension, flexible working and direct APC mentoring from an experienced APC Assessor.
