Brook, affectionately known as the ‘mum’ of our group, recently moved onto the Property & Surveying desk covering the South East, bringing her trademark energy and dedication with her. She originally joined Marks Consulting Partners just over two years ago on the Regeneration & Development desk. With a strong mind and an incredible work ethic, Brook consistently goes above and beyond, taking initiative and showing unwavering dedication in everything she does.

Her determined personality makes her thrive in the recruitment world. Brook knows how to turn any opportunity, whether a challenge or a win, into something positive, always making the most of what comes her way. Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now an Associate Director specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

Lizzie's career took the scenic route to get here. She left London for what was meant to be a couple of months away, and 25 years later she's still gone, having fallen completely in love with South Africa along the way.

What the job will be doing?

I have a Civil engineering project which consists of sheet piling to river bank so any experience with civil engineering or suitable qualifications, compliance, and contract management skills.
They will need to be proficient in using the NBS corus software for compiling specifications and we do all our own preliminaries using JCT or NEC format, they need to get on with the team be professional and hit the ground running.
We have some housing repairs and a requirement to investigate damp in a property we are considering for refurbishment for Temporary accommodation if the business case is there developed through to completion.
Generally ,to help in the office with compliance checking/monitoring, day to day repairs, complaints, FOI’s, inspections, we organise and run M&E, for all council properties including managing large cleaning contract.

What you will need?

We require a surveyor with fire qualifications either NEBOSH National certificate in fire safety, IFE level 3, 4 or 5 certificate, or FPA Diploma in Fire Risk Assessments.
Must have clean driving licence and vehicle insured for work
