Brook, affectionately known as the ‘mum’ of our group, recently moved onto the Property & Surveying desk covering the South East, bringing her trademark energy and dedication with her. She originally joined Marks Consulting Partners just over two years ago on the Regeneration & Development desk. With a strong mind and an incredible work ethic, Brook consistently goes above and beyond, taking initiative and showing unwavering dedication in everything she does.

Her determined personality makes her thrive in the recruitment world. Brook knows how to turn any opportunity, whether a challenge or a win, into something positive, always making the most of what comes her way. Matthew joined Marks Consulting Partners eight years ago as a trainee with zero experience, unless you count trying to convince his mates to play golf with him as headhunting. Fast forward to today, Matthew is now a Managing Consultant specialising in the property and surveying industry, helping public sector client’s source technical candidates.

With a degree in Psychology, he likes to think he has a decent read on people. And this does show with how closely he works with his clients and candidates to make recruiting as smooth as possible.

What the job will be doing?

Seek to prevent homelessness arising wherever possible by working with people at risk and ensuring advice and assistance using innovative and cost effective solutions.
responding to applications in accordance with the homelessness legislation and making decisions under the Homelessness Reduction act 2017.
Maintain accurate case records and assist in the compilation of relevant statistics and information.
To assist the Deputy Housing Options Manager in the analysis of data associated with homelessness and its prevention.

What you will need?

Experience working in homelessness within a local authority setting
Update understanding of laws and regulations in regard to homelessness
