Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for an Operations Manager to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Hampshire.

What the job will be doing

  • Responsible for the leadership and performance of the Property Maintenance service.  Including the development of repairs and maintenance services.
  • To lead the development of property maintenance services and associated strategies in response to the needs of individuals, communities, and the changing environment.  Maintain collaborative relationships with the wider Property Services Directorate and Customer Operations
  • Ensure we’re a leading provider of maintenance and estate services to our customers
  • Lead a team culture which is effective, efficient, and professional; assisting with the training of staff to enable them to carry out their duties and responsibilities
  • Use data and insight to improve service delivery and reduce costs 
  • Be an ambassador, and inspirational leader creating a positive image and represent the organisation with key stakeholders and staff
  • Stay informed of new initiatives or legislation to help the business with developing new strategies and practices and maintaining compliance.
  • Be a key part of leading a culture of risk assessment, management, and control throughout at a strategic and operational level
  • Lead and develop the portfolio of services, providing insight and guidance to inform robust decision making
  • Have an effective maintenance operation that balances customer service outcomes with being cost effective
  • Ensure there is a continuous drive to improve our maintenance services.
  • Our compliance obligations for our properties have robust mechanisms to fulfil legislations, the Home Standard and Best Practice, to ensure that the Property Compliance team are able to rely on the processes in place in Property Maintenance.
  • Drive for continued efficiency of our repairs & maintenance service when benchmarked across the sector and with other comparable providers
