Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Complaints and Service Improvement Officer to work with one of our Local Authority clients in West Sussex.

What the job will be doing

  • Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues to reduce complaints by identifying improvements and driving effective change.
  • Improving the quality and output of how complaints are managed and responded to within the service.
  • Work with teams across the service and council to ensure that customers are at the heart of everything that we do and all correspondence with customers meet our standards.
  • Deliver an effective and efficient management of complaints, and the identification and promotion of learning from the outcomes which are incorporated into future organisational plans and policies.

What you will need

  • Experience of investigating complaints and providing written reports and responses to complaints.
  • An understanding of social housing.
  • Experience of managing information, using complaint management systems and IT to set up monitoring systems.
  • Excellent written skills. Ability to translate complicated / technical information into something easy to understand.
  • Have an overall awareness of Housing Stock and Health & Safety compliance to respond appropriately to complaints.
